Breakthroughs - Spring 2014
For the issue coordinating with the centennial of UC Berkeley's forestry program, we had a wonderful story to tell, complete with a decade long arc of challenges, conflicts, complex, uneasy resolutions, and even a hero. Shindler's expertise with this anachronistic technology yielded, thanks also to good-natured faculty members, some of the strongest images the magazine has produced.
